Services

Our mission is to bring beautiful, amazing books into the world and help authors realise their dreams. We pride ourselves in being open and transparent in our work and prices. That's why, unlike every other hybrid publisher,  we clearly show the cost of our services so there's no secret's and no surprises. We also want our authors to get as much of their royalties as possible whilst also investing in them. That's why they receive 75% of the net profits from sales.

The prices attached to each service is an estimate based on a novel of 70-80 thousand words but will give you a good idea about the cost of preparing and publishing your book.

You can choose to use whatever services you feel you need in order to get your book ready for publishing. You may already have people who are helping with cover design or editing or marketing so they are not needed from us. This gives you total control over the process and most importantly, what you spend.

Editing

Developmental Editing

Developmental editor is used to guide an author to ensure the topic, style and overall structure is fluent throughout the manuscript chapter by chapter so that it provides a coherent narrative for the target audience. It may involve addressing organisation and restructuring the manuscript, such as moving content from one chapter to another and requesting additional content from the author.  A developmental editor is commonly used if the publisher decides that the authors' idea and worthy of exploration, but the draft requires revision and restructuring.

Authors retain control over the document and are responsible for providing the content. Developmental editors won't make the changes directly to the manuscript but instead provide guidance and suggestions to refine the manuscript, although some "hands-on editing is used to illustrate principles of craft and mechanics.

Author Branding

Your author brand is how other perceive you and what you stand for. It’s about how you present yourself and your work, your morals and values and can even include things that you’re strongly against. This often leads to an unwanted perception of them that dissuades new readers.
